Congratulations on your retirement! This is the beginning of an exciting time in your life.

As you know, the West Virginia Association of Retired School Employees (WVARSE) invites all school retirees to join our organization. Your membership supports our efforts to work with the West Virginia Legislature on issues that will affect you in your retirement. WVARSE is the only association in West Virginia that devotes its interests and efforts exclusively to improving the lives of retired school employees.

As you say good bye to your Board of Education, it is important to know that you may lose access to your systems group dental and vision coverage. Because of this, you may want to consider the WVARSE Dental plan that we believe is a better value than the plan offered by PEIA. We want to make you aware of this group plan available to WVARSE members.

Timing is everything! If you are currently utilizing your Board of Educations dental plan, you have only 60 days from the last date of your systems dental coverage to enroll. By enrolling in this timeframe, you will enjoy seamless coverage. If you do not currently participate in your Board of Educations group dental or vision plan, you may still enroll and take advantage of these WVARSE group benefits.
