West Virginia Association of Retired School Employees (WVARSE) Salutes School Service Personnel
As a former principal, I always valued service personnel. Their support and service made running a school so much easier. Maintenance personnel from the county always did a great job keeping the building and facilities operating well. A great custodial staff, cooks, and secretary are essential in operating a school. School bus drivers always have the safety and well-being of students as their priority and safely transport them to school and school functions. The Governor of West Virginia has designated September 22 as School Service Personnel day. We salute both active and retired School Service Personnel. Retired Service Personnel are an important segment of our membership. They have served WVARSE as state president, treasurer, and state chairs. They have also served county units in the same capacity.
WE SALUTE AND HONOR SCHOOL SERVICE PERSONNEL.
